DREDGING A DREAM

Above this half-lit sky,
In the radiance of your face,
A dewy smile, in my thoughtful eye
Beholds the brilliance of your witty grace!

Against dreary nights & tiny days,
I run. To keep bathing
In the cool crimson rays,
I bow my head while praying.

Sailing on warm icy memories
Beautiful Hope will reach you soon.
This Promise won’t take centuries:
For even you chirp is a boon!

The charm, the beauty &
the soothing palm
The kindness, the oneness & the feelings true
Shall make us long for your caring arm
And reasons, yet unknown, will leave us missing you.
